and things that instill fear. Even though each person is different, we can still see each other as human beings.
It's about not dominating or oppressing each other. It’s possible to do so, and we are trying to put it into practice. It's a collection of memories and records of what You and I, and our comrades, have inevitably witnessed and experienced in our lives. 「わたしの、ことばを、つくってみよう」

Due to certain circumstances, the workshop scheduled for December 18 has been modified in content and timing, and will now be held as Shizuko-kai(淑子会).
In the 2022 exhibition by Dokyusei, we researched a person named Shizuko Ariake. This workshop will be a small gathering where we will start with a discussion about her, chat over tea and snacks, and move our hands and bodies.
*This workshop is invitation-only. It is intended for those who have a direct acquaintance with Doukyusei. members (friends of members, acquaintances, or those who have visited previous exhibitions and talked with us). If you wish to participate, please reserve through the form below.
Date: December 18 (Mon) 14:00~15:30 (Scheduled)
Fee: ¥500
Number of Participants: 3~5 per session
What to Bring: Drink
*Please come in clothing that you find relaxing.
Following the 2022 "Shizuko Ariake and “Schoolgirl”" event, we will hold "Shall we Create Our Own Words" in the "The planets orbiting the same sun" version!!
After viewing the exhibition, we will move our bodies gently, chat, and do crafts.
Also, while enjoying tea and snacks, each participant will create a small artwork, followed by a presentation after completion.

No reservation is needed. Please visit during the open dates and times of the exhibition venue.
Accessibility
The video works have either Japanese or English audio or subtitles. Some video works have subtitles in English, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, German, French, Finnish, and Polish. Audio works will only be in Japanese.

The Background of Creation and About the Works
In 2023, we cherished the phrase CREATING and LIVING.
While living our LIVES, we have been dedicated to CREATION. Among the things born from this endeavor,
we have decided to bring together a few of them in one place.
What are your thoughts? We may be small, but do we have no way to resist something bigger? What about you? What are your thoughts? The power to, slowly but surely, change our lives lies in our own hands. How do you realize that this power actually exists, and how do you embody it? How do you understand the whole process? What about you? What are your thoughts?
